I know that many gamers enjoy playing ROMs on a PSP. Thing is it doesn't feel very natural, right? Well, that can change, if you have a SNES controller you can mod it for use with the PSP. How?
Check out the creator's blog post for more info here.
Here is a short video showing the mod in action. :)
I know this pic is kinda old but I figured some of you may not have seen it. Definitely an interesting look at the evolution of Nintendo characters over time...
Take a look at this pic and let the awesomeness soak in for a moment. It's a giant Super Nintendo controller. Wait, not just giant but the largest Super Nintendo controller in the world! This thing looks exactly like the normal sized controller too. Below you can see it's size in comparison to the original. Amazing, eh? The creator had this to say:
"I was inspired by Kyle Downes (creator of the Giant NES coffee table) to make my own SNES Controller. I grew up more on the SNES, and figured that the Left and Right bumpers as well as the curved sides would give me a good challenge."
There are some of you I'm sure that have wanted a hand held Super Nintendo. Although ROMs are phenomenal, this is for the SNES fan that literally wants to play the cartridges on a hand held. Well, here's a wicked mod the likes of which I've never seen. It's a nostalgic wooden hand held Super Nintendo. It appears to have the case of a PS1, or at least the approximate case design. The built in screen is a 3.5 inch backlit LCD. It would be pretty cool to have this but sadly this is the only one.
