Okay, I know we're called SNES Classics but COME ON ! Check this out ! It's a Legend of Zelda modded NES. It's got the Triforce symbol carved into the top along with a plate of transparent plastic that lets you see the inside. It's been painted gold along with the controller. Also, take note of the intricate detail that was put into this, you can tell that it's taken some time and it turned out perfect.
I'm sure many of you that are into the emulation and don't have a Wii have thought "I wish I could play this with a SNES controller" . Well, there's a SNES PC USB Controller Adapter. It works just as you would expect and you get that old school vibe. You can check it out here.
Have you ever wanted to play those VC SNES or NES titles with an actual NES or SNES controller? Well, here's a mod to do so, It's demonstrated in this video and it's a perfect method for those of you old school fans that don't wanna use the "new-age" WiiMote. This process involves removing the original cord and then installing the wireless transmitter and a recharger so that when the battery goes flat you can recharge your old school controller. Did I mention? This also works for the Gamecube too. (Incase you have those collections).
In case those of you owning a Wii haven't noticed, they've now added Super Mario RPG to the Virtual Console downloads in the Wii Shop Channel. YES, this landmark title in the RPG genre has now become available for download. This is also great considering that there hasn't been a SNES release on the Virtual Console in quite some time. Many fans will be happy about this, it's definitely a title worth the points. If those of you owning a Wii have not heard of this game then you should go to the Shop channel now and buy it. (The ROM is ESA protected, meaning you can't just download it online) It's really worth the Wii Points though, you won't be disappointed. All that's really left now is 'Super Smash Bros."
