Even less consoles on Japanese release.
Following the shocking news that Japan would only have 100.000 PS3's at launch, Sony reported yesterday that they would only be able to offer 80.000 consoles to their homeland. There's no news about any cutting down in supplies for the US market though.
Play-Asia is worried.
The recent lawsuit against Lik-Sang has made Play-Asia worry. The company has stopped the pre-orders for PS3 consoles yesterday. Everyone who has pre-ordered a PS3 will get a full refund.
Sony wins console war?
Sony must be a really strong name because according to GameDaily they will win the console war again! Not a funny thought if you take a look at the current mainstream market. European gamers aren't happy with the 4 month delay and Xbox 360 seems like a good alternative to a PS3. False statements and confusing statistics don't predict good sales. If Sony thinks 500/600$ is a fair price for their console they shouldn't need any of those statictics to justify that price.
We'll have to wait and see, but this will certainly be the biggest console war ever fought! |
