Japanese Wii Release List 2007
Posted by kenada on 27 Nov 2006
Here is a list of recently confirmed 2007 releases for the Wii in Japan:

Battalion Wars II
Big Brain Academy
Disaster: Day of Crisis
DK Kongo Blast
Excite Truck
Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn
Forever Blue
Mario Party 8
Mario Strikers Charged
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Project H.A.M.M.E.R.
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Paper Mario
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Wii Health Pack
Wii Music

As you have probably noticed, there are a number of titles standing above the rest in terms of expectation and anticipation, including Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, all of which have already received significant media attention. We can't accuse Nintendo of neglecting its fans in terms of numerical variety but it is rather apparent that Nintendo have done little to try and stray away from the stereotypical Mario 'cash cow' scenario; hopefully this generation's offerings - with the help of the Wii's innovative set-up - will offer some fresh and exciting experiences.

All of the games listed above will be hitting Japanese shelves in 2007 and will no doubt follow with Western releases soon afterwards.
