Since the Virtual Console was launched a little more than two months
ago, it has had continously strong sales. With an array of NES, S-NES,
N64, TurboGrafx-16 and SEGA Genesis titles, the Virtual Console is a
big part of Nintendo's game plan.
Recent additions to the Virtual Console include Mario Kart 64 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Strong titles like these have allowed Nintendo to sell over 1.5 million Virtual Console games since its release.
Microsoft has said that since their system has been laucned over a year ago, 20 million Xbox Live Arcade games have been sold.
