On January 26th Nintendo launched its third Wii channel. It follows the Weather Channel and beta Internet Channel. The interface is similar to the weather channel with buttons for scrolling through the latest headlines. Also an icon shows up over the country in whch the news story takes place in, there is is a zoom feature.

If you wish to view news through an more organized fashion than the scolling method, you can choose to view news based on the following categories: National, Regional, International, Sports, Art/Entertainment, Business, Science/Health and Technology.

Later down the line Nintendo plans on making the system more centered on certain locales based on the user's preferences.
