Nintendo has announced that in April the full version of the Wii browser will be released. Currently Wii owners can download the Opera made trial version for free, but soon they will have the finished product.
Since the free trail version was released, Nintendo has been taking suggestions and taking into consideration people's complaints. In the final version the following will be added:
- Improved zooming and scrolling
- An improved zoomed font
- Shortened startup times
- Quicker access to 'favourites'
- An ability to erase the toolbar
- Buttons that instantly type common preset letters, such as 'www' or '.com'
Upon its April release, owners will be able to download the browser for free until the end of June. After that date it will sell for 500 Wii points ($5.00).
