Nintendo again had a solid month of sales. In the counry of Japan it outsold the competition. (According to Enterbrain's Famitsu Marketing Data Service (FMDS)).
The Nintendo DS sold over half a million units with aboout 504,000.
The Nintendo Wii continued its sucess with 263,000 units sold. The console sales are up 61.7% of the level that is was last March.
Software sales were however down due to a lack of strong titles. It fell 29.8% from the February level. Wii play did reach the million sales mark however, making it the second Wii game to do so.
