The Adventures of Batman & Robin - Player Reviews & Feedback
Rating 5 Batman Rules!

Adventures of Batman and Robin for the Super Nintendo is a Konami effort that has a lot going for it, but somehow just didn't come together very well to make for a great (or even especially good) gaming experience for me. It's basically a side-scrolling game in which you control Batman, and move left to right defeating bad guys with punches, jump kicks, throws and/or special Bat-devices.

While you can use grappling hooks to rise up and swing, Batman somehow feels stiff and not very athletic. He can roll, perform a throw out of a roll, swing into a jump attack...but for example, the Genesis game Adventures of Batman and Robin makes you feel much more in control of where he's going. He feels stiff and frozen at times in this version, which can be more than a little annoying.
Rating 5Loved it!

I think this is the kind of classic gameplay that some action games nowadays can not come close to. I loved fighting all the guys, and throwing Batarangs at them. Also the levels were all suprisingly long and fairly challenging.

The gameplay could be better with some levels where you drive, but I did not think this was enough from stopping giving the gameplay a 10.

This game has some of the best action gameplay ever, but the graphics weren't so great, even for their time.
