Aerobiz Supersonic - Player Reviews & Feedback
About Aerobiz Supersonic

When I was in middle school, one of my favorite SNES games was Aerobiz Supersonic. From the name, one might assume it’s a game where the player takes control of an airplane and shoots down enemy planes.
Instead, it’s an economic simulator on how an airline is actually run. Somehow, I enjoyed playing this is age 13 and still do every once in a while.

How the hell is Aerobiz Supersonic, a rather dry economic game from Koei (better known now for the never ending Dynasty Warriors franchise), a fun game? Well, for one, the interface is pretty minimalist and the goal to win the game is pretty simple on the surface of things: become the #1 airline in 5 continents. Each turn in the game equals to a financial quarter and the player gets to make decisions such as where to negotiate to open hubs for new flight destinations, how to tweak existing flight routes to strike a balance between profit and consumer loyalty, and order the most cost-effective planes possible.
Terrible

I can sum up Aerobiz in one word.... BORING!!! What's not to hate about this game? Horrible graphics? You got them here. Well sorta. There isn't actually any game play to speak of. It's mainly just a map. Game play?? This really sucks. You just buy planes and decide which to put on what route.

YAWN!! Do we really need a game where we decide between a 747 and a autobus? I think not. But never fear, Aerobiz makes up for lousy game play with a lack of options. You can't hire, fire or give raises to pilots. You can not do anything but buy planes and plan routes.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!
