Brainies Description
They might be round and fluffy, but the Brainies exist only to create chaos and frustrate you with their difficult puzzles. Your goal is to neutralize the maddening little creatures by placing them on their sleeping pads. That’ll be tougher than it sounds, as the critters are overwhelmingly defiant and smart (hence, their name).
The game boasts more than 100 colorful levels of addicting fun, and a great learning curve lets you ease into the game before slamming you with the tough stuff. With so much action, you’ll want to save your progress, and five levels of passwords make it easy to do so. Perfect for gamers of all ages, THE BRAINIES lets you play alone or challenge a friend to a head-to-head contest.
Brainies - Player Reviews & Feedback
Challenging
Let’s get down to business. The objective is really quite simple in theory. Grab the little critters, and move them to special pads on the ground with the same color as the critter. Move all the Brainies to where they should be to complete the level. Sound simple? In theory, yes. In practice, no. The levels start off simple enough, then get more challenging as you progress. As you move from level to level, various obstacles are placed on the map to hinder your progress. Stop signs tend to get in the way, as can the arrow pads. A word of warning: The clock is not your friend.
In some levels, you’ll have ample amounts of time, while in others you’ll be in a frantic race against the clock. The game can get quite challenging, and it actually requires you to think about what you’re doing.
The controls are quick and responsive, a must for any puzzle game. They’re also quite simple, though I was annoyed at having to switch views at the beginning of every level so that I could do something.
