Action.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors Description Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a run and gun video game for the Super NES and Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis platforms.

The game was produced by LucasArts as a comical tribute to both classic and schlocky horror films of the 1950s and 1960s. A sequel entitled Ghoul Patrol was released in 1994, but it was considered by many to lack the heart of the original, and to have thus killed the series off.

I Still Play it!

This has got to be one of the top-ten most fun games from the 16-bit days! The replay value is high, graphics are great, sound effects top-notch, music imminently hummable, controls are slick and responsive, the AI is advanced beyond its years and technology and the difficulty is almost perfectly balanced.

This is the definition of "sleeper hit". Why ZAMN didn't get more attention when it came out than it did is beyond me. The fast-paced arcade style gameplay is nicely complemented by the variety of weapons, enemies and locales to create a deeply satisfying and fun playing experience.

It's somewhat ironic, though, that a game packed with so much nostalgia has itself become a piece of 16-bit nostalgia. If you've seen even a fraction of the horror movies that have came out in the nine decades before the game's release, you'll recognize some of them in this game.
Instant Classic

I wish I had not of gotten rid of this game so long ago. Of course I also wish I had a working Genesis.

The gameplay was awesome, I was too young to really understand what was going on the first time I played it, but when I really got into it, I knew where about 90% of the hidden things were in the first 25 levels. 50+ levels: that was unheard of back then. Of course me & my bro could only make it to the 40th or so level before we would both be killed off. I cant really remember how many hours I spent playing this game. One of the only bad things i can remember about it was the password system, it only gave you a password after every 10 levels I think. One of the worst things I can remember was running out of squirt gun ammo. You were then stuck with soda cans or food. That was one of the funny things about this game, you never really knew what could be used as a weapon. A weed whacker, plates, silverware, food, footballs. It was all creative.
What a memory

50 levels. millions of zombies, hatchet wielding dolls, werewolves, and chainsaw maniacs. 2 kids. you do the math. this game is extremely addictive. you will definitely replay it over and over again. and dont be surprised when you happen to glance over at the clock and see its 4:00 a.m. already.

This is definitely a worthwhile investment.towards the end, it turns out to be a rather difficult game, but by that time you will have enough experience with the enemies to beat them back into the hallowed ground they dredged themselves up from. so go to your nearest new and used game store and have them order it. you will not be dissapointed.
