Game Details Blues Brothers
Developed by:
Nintendo.

Released on: Jun 1, 1993.

Genre:
Titus Software Corp.

Blues Brothers Description THE BLUES BROTHERS have appeared on television, in the movies, and now they’ve made their way to the digital world to star in their own videogame. Jake and Elwood Blues are traveling to Chicago for their first paying gig, when an evil jukebox suddenly traps them.

It’s up to you to help them escape from the strange land of the jukebox to get to the show in time. Playing as either Jake or Elwood (or both in the two-player game), you’ll venture through level after level of platforming action, fighting enemies, and solving puzzles.

Each character has different abilities so choosing the brother who matches your gaming style is an important decision. Jake is fast but can’t jump very high and Elwood has hops but can’t run very well. Work your way through 34 single-player levels or 25 two-player levels as you groove to the tunes of The Blues Brothers.

Blues Brothers - Player Reviews & Feedback
Hard To Describe

In Blues Brothers you get the option of playing as either Jake or Elwood. This is a platform game where you collect records, kill enemies like:flies, lawnmowers, and snails. How do you kill them you ask, well by throwing those records at them. One of the funniest things in this game is the powerup, which is cake. When you get it, you turn into muscle man, but doesn't really affect the gameplay.

The goal in this game was to find the golden jukebox. Multiplayer is fun as well, where one of you takes Jake and the other Elwood, and you pretty much do the same thing as single. What this game doesn't do is follow anything remotely close to the Blues Brothers franchise. Nothing about this game makes any sense really, but I had fun with it.

Another thing to mention is that some levels you will find incredibly easy, while others seem almost impossible to beat which can be rather irratating. To sum it up, this is an obscure game, but I'm a fan.
