Bubsy II Description
Bubsy was the star character in a series of video games released by Accolade for the SNES, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Atari Jaguar, the PC and PlayStation in the early and mid-1990s. The character has been voiced by Rob Paulsen, who is best known for portraying Yakko Warner from the Animaniacs. He also voiced Gladstone Gander in DuckTales.
Though the games were platform games similar to Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog, the bobcat never came close to the popularity level of the two bigger name mascots, despite early hype that made Bubsy out as "the next Sonic the Hedgehog".
Bubsy had a pilot episode for an animated series in 1993. It was from Dic Enterprises.

About Bubsy II (2)
The misadventures of Accolade's over-hyped bobcat continue in this handheld adaptation of Bubsy II on Super NES and Genesis. Bubsy embarks on a short nine-level trip across three nondescript worlds (Egypt, Music, and Aerial) en route to the villainous Oinker B. Hamm.
Level design is not only sparse but also confusing, with haphazardly placed objects that seem plucked from a child's dreams. The action, however, is closer to a nightmare. Play mechanics involve slowly gliding down floors to locate an exit before time expires, and the inclusion of a Nerf gun to dispatch animal adversaries makes things too easy. Better than the unresponsive 16-bit versions, but only by a whisker.
Great SNES Game
I actually got to read the comic in the original instruction booklet, but it's been about nine or ten years since I saw it, so I'm a little foggy about it. This pig guy, Oinker, was trying to build the best museum in the world, so he had this local genius kid make him a time machine to get stuff from each era in history.
However, there was something wrong with the machine, and it's actually stealing stuff from each time period, instead! Meanwhile, Bubsy, his armadillo pal (forgot his name), and his nephew and niece (I think) were just driving by when suddenly, their radio breaks and their car suddenly crashes into Oinker's museum! Bubsy's nephew and niece head on inside out of curiosity, and Bubsy goes in after 'em.
Worthless
Bubsy 2 is a totally unispired platformer. With trashy sound, unispired levels, and fairly easy difficulty, there is no reason for anyone to own this. Thought the first Bubsy had problems? Then don't even try this one!
The graphics do have a cartoony look that match Bubsy's sappy style, but they could've been a little better at this day and age. There are many games with better cartoon graphics, such as Buster Bursts Loose and Rabbit Rampage.
