Final Fantasy 5/V Description Final Fantasy 5 is a role-playing game created and published by Square Enix in 1992. The game at first appeared only in Japanese stores and on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System - it was later ported over with minor differences to the PlayStation and GBA. An anime OVA fashioned in 1994 called Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals and serves as a sequel to the proceedings depicted in the game.

The story begins with an adventurer named Bartz investigating a meteorite blast. There he faces several characters that make known the danger opposite the four Crystals that control the world's essentials and allow its success. These Crystals act as a seal on Exdeath, an evil magician who once endangered their world. It is up to Bartz and his fellow party members to keep the Crystals from being subjugated by Exdeath's authority and to prevent his recovery.
