Ice Hockey Description
Ice Hockey is the first hockey game to have appeared on the NES, and it is very simplistic. There are no real teams or players, no NHL licenses, just plain ice hockey action.
And yet, it's still one of the few sports games that I've played that I actually got some enjoyment out of, as I'm not overly fond of the genre.
Ice Hockey - Player Reviews & Feedback
Ice Hockey is everything you could expect from a great hockey game: an awsome gameplay, a varied choice of teams and players, good graphics, and awsome sound effects.
Ice Hockey offers a single game mode, but it is still very diversified. There is six different international hockey teams to choose from, in wich you can customize your players. There is also five different game speeds and three different game lenghts to choose from.
Playing Ice Hockey feels like playing hockey. The game lets you control any of the four player of your team including the goaler, letting you be a part of the action at any time. Ice Hockey also features an impressive AI system that can easily beat an unexperienced player.
Playing Ice Hockey feels great in every way, adding a lot to the game.
